8 (A)He gave him also the covenant of circumcision: and to Abraham begat(B)Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day: and Isaac begat (C)Jacob, and Jacob the twelve (D)Patriarchs.
9 [a]And the Patriarchs moved with envy, sold (E)Joseph into Egypt: but God was [b]with him,
10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and (F)gave him [c]favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt, who made him governor over Egypt, and over his whole house.
